Whether I was making films, taking photographs, dressing up, or building furniture for my dollhouse, curiosity was always at the centre. Attending a Waldorf school gave me the freedom to follow that curiosity and explore different ways of making. Driven by my interest in making and design, I studied Interior Design at HMC in Amsterdam. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eA year ago I graduated from the HKU, where I learned to think more freely and creatively, experiment extensively, and gradually develop a style of my own.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn my work, I like to look at what is already there. We live in a world full of objects, with more and more being added all the time. That is why I often work with leftover materials and discarded objects, giving them a second life through my designs. My work is most often intended to be functional, but I find it equally important that it evokes something in the user. At the same time, I don't think every design needs to have a deeper meaning.
