Name designer: Ebba Lindgren 

Bio of the designer: Ebba Lindgren makes objects that beg to be touched. Her practice moves from furniture making and hands-on material exploration, towards more conceptual work within curating, events, exhibition design and artistic research. Alongside her design practice, she is looking for ways to resist an increasingly artificial world through tactility, emotion, spatiality and pleasure. She holds an MFA in Industrial Design from Lund University.

short description: A little ornamentation goes a long way. New Shoes is an unpretentious stool, fitted with glass shoes. It's a dress-up play with furniture! The alder wood seat is thick and slightly concave for comfort, with softly rounded edges. The "shoes" are made of sand-cast glass and rubber. Everything is produced together with skilled craftspeople in my local area in southern Sweden.
