Bio of the designer: 

Szymon is a Polish designer and interior architect based in Barcelona, working across interiors, bespoke furniture and collectible design. With a background in Fine Arts and Interior Architecture and Design, his practice explores the relationship between art, space and material. Influenced by the landscapes of the Baltic coast and the Mediterranean, his sculptural work combines craftsmanship and material experimentation to explore memory, light and the passage of time. His work has been recognised by AD100 2026 and the Dezeen Awards 2026, among other distinctions.

Title: Moll – Sculptural (Ash)Tray, Sunburst Collection

Short description: Inspired by the sea, sculpted by the sun. This blue resin tray embraces deformation as part of its form. With thick, inflated edges and an organic, irregular surface, it evokes the presence of the ocean, fluid, serene, and almost breathing. Its deep blue tones recall the shifting colors of the sea, capturing a moment between movement and stillness.

The (ash)tray is available in several colours, including brown and blue. As the pieces are handmade, slight variations and small imperfections are part of each piece and should be appreciated as a sign of its character.
